This post should’ve been published a month ago. It’s about Shrimangal trip, we tripped in last october, 2016. It was very charming and we had a lot of fun there. We stayed in for 2+days excluding the journey time. OK, before i’ll let you know my story in short let’s have a little note about That region :
OK Shreemongal(or Srimangal) a picturesque hilly area, 75km south of Sylhet is the tea center of Bangladesh. This part of the land where you see leading tea estates forming perennially green carpet on the sloping hills. You’ll find out the magnificent dense Lowacherra Forest, 8km east of the small town. Don’t miss these: Rain forest and Madhabpur Tea Gardens Lake and other tea estates across this hilly region. Recently Grand Sultan hotel, a 5-star category destination has been built along the hilly tea estates. It’s truly awesome. ShreeMongal is widely traveled through Rail network.
During our stay in there, we visited four prominent places: MadhavKunda Water Fall, Lawachara Forest Reserve & Madhavpur Lake & at Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf.
Stayed at Nishorgo Cottage
It’s a natural lake inside the Madhabpur tea gardens, locatued around 5km west of Kamalganj PS.
